At present, the commonly used laboratory centrifuge rotates very fast, but we must pay attention to safety. In particular, we must prevent the centrifuge from vibrating and moving while working due to imbalance or aging of the test tube pad during the operation of the centrifuge, or falling from the test bench uniformly, or the centrifuge tube is broken due to vibration because the cover is not covered, and the glass fragments spin out, resulting in accidents.
There is a risk of serious aerosol leakage due to the rupture of the centrifuge tube of the laboratory centrifuge. If the centrifuge tube is broken during centrifugation, the power supply shall be turned off immediately and the centrifuge cover shall be kept closed for 30min before opening. If the centrifuge tube is broken after the centrifuge stops running, the cover shall be closed immediately and the centrifuge can be treated after 30min. The centrifuge shall be located in a well ventilated laboratory space.
When cleaning the broken centrifugal tubes, a pair of thick rubber gloves shall be put outside the disposable gloves, and the fragments shall be clamped with tweezers or tweezers padded with cotton. All the broken test tubes, broken centrifugal barrels and casings shall be put into sharp cotton. All the broken test tubes, broken centrifugal barrels and casings shall be put into sharp tool boxes and treated according to the waste treatment regulations. Unbroken covered pipes shall be disinfected with chlorine containing disinfectant on the surface of contaminated containers.
After cleaning the broken centrifuge tube, the inner surface of the centrifuge can be wiped twice with chlorine containing disinfectant with an effective chlorine concentration of 0.5% or 75% alcohol, and then wiped with clean water. After drying, the centrifuge can be restored to normal use.
